Tiny Task is designed to allow pilot to practice all aspects of flying cross country, whilst minimising the risk of an outlanding. The task involves making a valid start, navigating to 3 different turn points and a final glide back to Saltby. In blue conditions, you can see which ground sources work best (small villages? brown fields? solar farms?). If there is some streeting, try and fly the leg that is most aligned with the streets, without turning! Keep a watchful eye on your height above Saltby to ensure you can get back. Fly multiple laps and work out why your fastest lap was the fastest one. An ideal task for getting used to new instruments, gliders or navigation equipment, but please keep a really good look out, there could be others flying the same task or in the same area! Remember to check for any relevant Notams before you fly. Good luck and have fun!
